Eight years ago
America started to fall.
No one saw it coming,
No one to make the call.
President Bush was elected
and began his rule.
Soon, all prices began to rise.
Including the cost of fuel.
People cried out
But to no one who would hear.
But the answers to their problems
would soon be true and clear.
An election was held to nominate a new president.
Time was ticking away on the clock.
Who knew that a hero lay in the midst,
And that his name was Barack.
People were skeptical
and said he was like a stranger.
Most people would go to high lengths
To paint him as “Danger".
But then he spoke
And people saw with opened eyes.
At this man who stood for them
And didn't know how to tell a single lie.
He listened and took the time,
He gave people a voice.
People leaped for the sky
as they could now finally rejoice.
I'm trying to tell you all
If you want peace and no more drama.
Vote for Barack Obama.
Thanks to all who read this!. Barack Obama and all the people who support him amaze me. I'm just a kid, I know. But Barack inspired me to think and believe a bit more. This really is a great country and we should all be proud. Whether we are republican, democrat or independent we all live here and it should be a peaceful time. This poem shows NO OFFENSE to any candidate supporters, of course.
