i'm in hades, you'll be with davy

you're slick and greased and you only see
things in terms of you and your chance to flee.
you're grimy, slimy, and, blimey! you're blind
to your underbelly that grows briny with the tick of time.
you wail and quail at life, you're so distraught,
yet you have no care of what you've wrought.
Your mouth excretes mire, lazy and lax,
claiming with rashness to proclaim the facts.
yet you reek and creak with hackneyed disguise,
and you lie, in sighs, as I lay dying.
and with your dog eyes you refused even to close my eyes.

"As I lay dying, the woman with the dog's eyes would not close my eyes as I descended into Hades." Agamemnon

You just know when you were writing wail and quail you really just wanted to say fail. <3
