me, a brook and two butteflies on a leaf
sitting by the brook
observed I a look
a wonderful drama there
and it took
me; breathlessly;
was it only there for my heart to see?
so hard to imagine; even
harder to explain-
two butterflies floating on a leaf;
a once in a life-time venture; I'd speak
but a that moment joy paid
brilliance
as two butterflies on a leaf drifted
now you can call it nature,
but it was poetry to me;
it talked about love, sharing;
this once seen beauty
could i ever be given that miracle again...
I could watch it over and over again
maybe they were tired
from a windy fighting flight,
maybe fresh from the caccoon;
learning first flights
what 'er the reason
nature canvassed to me
a heart-felt charm only for me
a moment of love, without sorrow or grief
me, a brook and two butterflies...on a leaf
