I can't get rejected
Not because it'll hurt
It's that you can't be
With a person who's related

Too bad everyone believes
That blood runs thick
Too bad I believe
That its worth the risk

I have to let it go
I'm not that dumb

How it would end

I just wish I could feel
That bittersweet pain
Of rejection that was real
Instead of feeling insane
