The Middle

Stuck in the middle,
Always second best,
Confusing like a riddle,
Misplaced amoungst the rest,

Feeling like a thirdwheel,
Broken like a missing name,
Open and waiting to heal,
Put out like a watered flame,

Shining like a brand new star,
Souless like a manless fiddle,
Lost like a moon so far,
Is how it feels to be stuck in the middle
