Coiled He Sits

He sat there
Coiled in his obscure existence
Awaiting darkness to offer reasons rue
Fermenting in his own ambiance
He counsels tattered loyalties
And subjectated one from two
Illustrations of deference
He sleights all else away
Casting decadent shadows
He sets the libertine free
Those bold and sordid few
Visions of a new disorder stricken him with fever
Desecrator with his vile finger
Turning water rancid with himself
An overseer of shadows he reflects midnightsâ hue
Puritanical in wreathing the world over
Pale roses rot in his dismay
He sat there
Coiled in strict observance
Smiling whole as abandonment settles
A dead world in the suns absence
