My Black Sun

As I sit in a darken room
The mask I wear is full of gloom
subtle changes pass my unmoving gaze
Pondering my life as the music plays

I'm just somebody whose alive
No bigger picture, no reason to survive
There's always someone better than me
I try to forget my sorrow but it follows me

I push it away but it always comes back
It feeds on my heart until it turns black
The more I smile, The more it stings
The more I wallow, The more it sings

The chain on my heart begins to bleed
As I put on this facade and continue to mislead
The brighter I smile, the darker my room becomes
I sit in silence, I've become my own black sun
