The End of the Human Race

He has eyes like blue fire,
Showing his desire.
Brown hair cut short,
Under, lay a wart.

We shall get back to the wart in a secon’
You’ll like to hear what I say, I reckon.

His nose is quite slim,
If he looked your way,
Hopes were grim.

His smile was bone chilling,
It also was thrilling.

He was not buff,
He wasn’t even tough.
The thing is,
It was the wart of his,
That made life a whiz.

This wart was no ordinary wart,
It told Johnny what to do,
It wouldn’t stop until he was through.

Johnny did this “warts” bidding,
Never stopping until fulfilling.
Johnny went through life a robot,
Not even remembering his ol’ friend Scott.

One day after just getting out of bed,
Johnny got up and scratched his head.
All of a sudden, the wart was gone,
But, not after leaving spawn.

Johnny did not know what he was doing,
The race of the Warts was renewing.

Every couple of months,
The warts multiplied,
Skipping from hide to hide.

People continued on there lives,
Until the queen arrives.
She declares “No human shall ever live life again,
I’m giving you to the count of ten,
To say goodbye to your world.”
And then the world started to swirl.

Johnny said good bye with the others,
“Goodbye cruel world, good bye my brothers.”
As the 10 seconds passed,
The Warts surpassed.

The race of the Warts has lived on until this day,
They killed off all other races without delay.
These Warts could be here right now,
Even hiding, in a simple cow.
