A Welcoming Light

Kings; this is for anyone who WANTS a crown.
Enlighten a withering soul from vehement chaos.
Lacerate the wound of power for self control.
Letting out a cry for inevitable kindness that some hate.

Yearn this wound to still heal, though.
Place your hand and have faith it will not be fatal.

Enlightenment is yourself, to yourself,
And no light was meant to express power.
Center a question amongst a neutral perspective, now.
Every decent in life has a reason to fall; not stay.

Very well written .. when I really enjoy a piece, I will read it time and time again. Each time seeing something new that catches me off guard. This is one of those pieces. Vote

Lines 5 and 6 - they speak to me

Yearn this wound to still heal, though.
Place your hand and have faith it will not be fatal

I'm not exactly sure as to why
but I keep reading those two lines again and again.

This was an exellent piece of art.
