Jenny Kissed Me

When I was just 7 years old
I played house with a friend,
A pretty brown-eyed girl,
Who lived up my street.
She was 2 years older.

We made chocolate, mud pies,
And pretended to bake them.
But mostly got mud on
Our faces and clothes.
We laughed and giggled.

It was late in the evening
When the moon was out,
That she whispered in my ear
Things I could not understand
And then she tenderly kissed me.

cute like a child, but also no intrest or suspense. like having a conversation with a child.

eh... its more like something you would write in a diary. you should put some metaphores or similes or something to make it flow a bit more other than that its cute

It does sound like a diary entry but nonetheless; it is very sweet and brings to mind fond memories of my youth. I to have written 'poetry' such as this and why not? We write to please and express ourselves and no one else. : )

I agree with fanpirewerevocate. It is a really nice memory (and thank you for sharing) but it reads more like a journal entry. The ending had no surprise as the title indicated where your story was taking us.
