Still Lovers
another month, came and went.
i am happy to say, we're still together.
the smile on your face is my joy.
the light in your eyes keeps me alive.
and a picture to me means the world.
seeing you, brings some happiness
to the shambles i have become.
though i seem to fall further back
into darkness each day, it is you,
your voice, your smiles, all of you
that is keeping me here the most.
today is our 8 month anniversary.
just keep shining, keep loving me
and i am sure the months will just
keep coming and going, ending,
with us still together, still happy
to be able to call each other, lovers
