Close Enough

How far, yet close enough
could man's heart walk this
World alone, wasted and
enclosed in a prison of walls
made for his soul.

How far until dreams
made to feel alive, would
fallow my steps, only to be
cast aside, like words like love.

As life goes on so shall dreams
become stones, weighting sorrow
until all is said and words no more
mean nothing at all...how far.

Yet I've felt content and with
every step I know the further
I go I'll grow, until my reach are
stars and the sky.

Forever bound to walk this Earth
strong, proud and alive.

How far...Close enough.
