For Someone Who's Dead
I feel so pretty
for someone who's dead.
The pretty scars
running along my face,
the tales of a fight,
I'd never be saved.
A puckered lip
kissed across my chest,
I feel so pretty
for someone who's dead.
Dark purple spots
wrapped around my neck,
I feel so pretty
for someone who's dead.
The wonderful gashes
on my body like story lines,
tell the world of my tale,
the moment I lost my mind.
The beautiful blank stare
I earned after I lost my head,
makes me feel pretty
for someone who's dead.
