The Hunted

So much power lays in my camoflauged hands,
this buck in my veiw, how proud he stands;
It's as if he is posing for a magazine cover,
or trying to get the attention of a nearby lover.

Whatever the case, his life will soon be mine,
just a little something to stare at while I sip on some wine;
I think I'll put him next to the moose I just scored,
that should definitly keep the room from looking so bored.

Alright enough fooling around, it's time I claim my prize,
I take one last look at those innocent black eyes;
I prepare myself and drop my gun's deck,
just as massive teeth sink into the back of my neck.

This is very unique, and I like it a lot. A bit of relief from other cliches.
